In the summer of 1995, Olive Branch opened its doors to the community of La Crescenta, California. Our commitment was to bring good and healthy food to the community and provide a consistent high level of quality and service.
The name Olive Branch carries a meaning that is both cultural as well as inspirational. On the cultural side, the olive is a very ancient food; It has its origins in the Mediterranean area where it has long been a symbol of very nurturing food. The olive branch also represents peace, which frames the inspirational significance of our desire to cultivate seeds of peace in people's hearts.
Our motto 'Good Food , Good Life' and our belief in peace, sets the framework to provide good quality food that satisfies both hearts and minds and provides a place where energy is restored and spirits are uplifted.
Olive Branch was voted the Best Armenian Restaurant by the Foothill's Best 2005 Reader's Choice and its obvious why. Try some of the house specialties; Split Pea Beef Stew or the Pomegranate Chicken Stew. Or enjoy a kebab plate like the Cornish hen kebab or the salmon fish kebab. They also offer vegetarian delights like the orange peel rice and barbecued vegetables and eggplant tofu with rice. If you are in the mood for something sweet have the Saffron rice pudding with a cup of Armenian coffee to finish off your spectacular meal.
