Joseph's Café was once a small legendary Hollywood diner that catered to such stars as Clark Gable and James Cagney back in the 1940's. For years Joseph's Café operated as a small '40's vintage horseshoe diner that packed in a unique mix of Hollywood locals and stars alike. It was adorned with leatherette booths from the 1930's, and framed pictures of movie stars that frequented for great food and a cozy atmosphere across the way from the famous Capitol Records building.
Today, Joseph's Café has expanded much like its local surroundings in the Hollywood & Vine are through the hands of brothers Joseph and Robert Abrahamian. The menu still reflects their founding father and mother's time spent together throughout Greece, Armenia and the Mediterranean. And still serves as a proverbial repast fit for the gods with Greek specialties like Chicken Thessalonica. With greater influences of Mediterranean fare added to the menu. Joseph's now caters to any mortal. Be sure to try favorites such as Tuna Carpaccio, Grilled Lamb Chops or a delicious Citrus Watercress Salad.
If drinks and dancing are your election, Joseph's has been noted to be one of Hollywood's hottest nightclubs by E-Entertainment, Rolling Stone, People Magazine and In Style Magazine. Come in for a tranquil dining experience and stay as the restaurant transforms into an officious nightclub that would more than satisfy the desires of Dionysus – the Greek god of wine, music and pleasure.
